TheALL-DAY, Interactive P.E. ASSEMBLY
Welcome to a day of fun, creative play and learning, with this hands-on
P.E. assembly for elementary (3rd-5th) and middle school students.
The DiaboloFest program is an exciting way to provide skill building
qualities for athletic, non-athletic, male and female students alike!
The diabolo, a 2000 year old Chinese juggling apparatus and alternative sport, strengthens abilities in other sports, builds eye/hand coordination, (which is part of the 6th grade curriculum) and self confidence in each high energy packed period!
*******How our program works*******
One of our charismatic and talented instructors will come to your school for the entire day and teach all periods, grades 2-8.
We provide all the equipment necessary for the day, including PA system.
This event can be held in your gym (preferred), or outdoors.
Simply combine your regularly scheduled periods to total 100-120 students (for optimum instruction) and we'll do the rest!
Each period begins with a brief intro and history on the diabolo, some basic instruction, and then it’s hands-on time!
The music goes on, and your instructor gives some one on one training while the students practice for about 20 minutes.
The instructor ends each period with an unbelievable display of amazing tricks, including 2 diabolos juggled at once!
As a special treat, and if time permits, your instructor will call a couple of volunteers from the audience to perform toss and catch with them personally!
NOTE:Teachers must stay present to handle any student disruptions, plus we invite you to give the diabolo a try too!
