Patrick Connor has been performing in the circus arts for over ten
years for production companies such as "Food Play" and "The National
Circus Project." After touring all of the world for three years and
entertaining thousands of families in places such as Europe, Canada,
and The USA, he finds himself now in southern California working in TV
commercials and performing as a variety artist every weekend. His
charismatic personality and overall excitement for life is very evident
when he is performing and running workshops. Patrick is delighted to be
a part of Jester Games and is looking forward to teaching your students
diabolo in the near future!____________________________________________
Alex Corby originally grew up in Long Island New York and attended Vassar
College for Theater and Physics. After joining the Vassar College
Barefoot Monkeys, Alex moved to the West Coast seeking a career in
performance art such as juggling, fire spinning, clowning and of
course, Diabolo. In the years since he picked up his first
diabolo, Alex has performed and played around for people in Australia,
Canada, Europe, and India and has no intention of stopping.
Captivated by the circus as a child, Dave Kaplan tried to learn as much as
he could. After learning to juggle everything and unicycle he often attended
meetings of the Carmine St. Irregulars
Juggling Club and the New York Unicycle Club where he was able to
refine his skills. As a student of the New York Goofs, Dave studied
under Barry Lubin and Dick Monday from The Big Apple Circus,
Hovey Burgess, world champion juggler and theatre instructor at New
York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and Larry Pisoni, founder
of the Pickle Family Circus and the San Francisco School of Circus
Arts.
Taking his grandfather's advice, "Let your hobby be your
life's work," David has become both happy and successful. Traveling
around for Jester Games teaching the diabolo allows Dave to have the
most fun job he can imagine. Passing on a skill that has brought him
so much joy through the years.
From
knife juggling in Britney Spears’ “Circus”
music video, being in the L.A. Times in the air on his stilts, to
performing
for T.V., movies, and Disney, Christopher is a 2 diabolo diaboloist
influenced by Cirque de Soliel. The diabolo is his favorite juggling
tool and as a DiaboloFest presenter he enjoys sharing his talent and
experience with everyone. Originally from Dallas, TX, after 9 yrs in Hollywood, he has returned to
the DFW area and is looking forward to presenting a DiaboloFest at your school. Chris has helped
modify the JesterGames diabolo set into what it is today and hopes that you
enjoy his presentation of the DiaboloFest as well as the JesterGames product.
"Wow -- thank you very much!
Reid is the man! We loved having him, and the exposure to alternative
physical activities is exactly what we wanted and got. What a great
program you guys!

It was a hot, sticky, midwestern summer day when Devin Holt first
picked up a diabolo. Already an avid Juggle Stick player, a friend
found something in a strange toy shop and insisted he try this
mysterious yoyo looking thing called a "diabolo".
Devin was instantly hooked, but he had to teach himself tricks, because
he was the only person he knew with a diabolo. Devin's performance
career began with some epic failures on the streets of St. Louis,
Missouri, but he persevered. Eventually, Devin moved to San Francisco
where he trained in dance, acrobatics, and juggling at the San Francisco
School of Circus Arts, but after a few years of that he came back to
his old favorite diabolo. Devin has performed Diabolo with the SF
Circus Center, The New Pickle Circus, Teatro Zinzanni, and with several
other shows and events.
Devin likes working with Jester Games because it is
just the type of thing he wishes had come to his school, and he can make
sure that other kids get to start out with a proper diabolo teacher.
